VTOL Videography is a Pittsburgh-based company offering marketable videos to large venue businesses. Our diverse equipment allows us to create high-end, professional videos and photos from a perspective you just can't get on your own. We are two young adults in our twenties who are extremely passionate about photography and videography, and we cannot wait to get started on a project for you!
Hello, I am Austin Armstrong. I grew up in and around the Pittsburgh area, Pittsburgh is in my blood. I really was looking for something to open my creative side outside of my day job with UPMC as a Financial Analyst. VTOL is something that I am extremely passionate about due to the fact that I love to help businesses create videos that will drive traffic to their products and services. I manage the overall operations, financials, and video editing at VTOL.
My name is Cameron, I am a Pittsburgh native and am currently a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University studying Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Engineering. Since I was young, I have always had a passion for photography and video editing, so being a part of VTOL allows me to utilize my creative side when not doing school work. I work with the camera mostly, however, I am a drone pilot in training! I also manage all of the social media here at VTOL.
We use both drone and camera videography/photography which allows us to capture unique perspectives of venues, businesses, and landscapes.
The DJI Mini 2 is the perfect drone for indoor and outdoor footage. Its compact, lightweight design allows for easy navigation inside. This little guy shoots ultra-clear 4K video and photo quality, can reach altitude of 400 feet, and has level 5 wind resistance. This drone can truly do it all!
The DJI Pocket 2 is a mini handheld, pocket-sized 4K camera that has a 3-axis stabilizer which we use to create stunning, smooth, and quality ground level videos This creates the perfect stabilized video and it even includes facial recognition, image tracking, high quality audio, and other editing features all at the touch of button.
The Canon EOS Rebel T7i is our main camera for ground-level images. It has a 24.2-megapixel sensor and has a 45-point cross-type autofocus system allowing the camera to take high-resolution, high-quality images.
